About Our Dentists
Dr. Jennifer Y. Luna
Dr. Jennifer Luna is originally from Vancouver, BC, Canada. She completed her undergraduate studies and Doctor of Dental Sciences degree at McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 1999. She went on to complete a one-year general practice residency at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, NY.
Dr. Luna began her career in dentistry in upstate New York and Connecticut in 1999 for three years. Dr. Luna has been practicing in the area since moving to Washington State in 2002. Her priority is to provide her patients with the most comfortable, informative and pleasant experience at the dental office. She and her staff will do everything to always provide the best care for patients and strive to improve their skills and techniques to better serve them. They want their patients to make well-informed choices for their dental health by educating and providing them with the knowledge to make decisions that best fits their needs.
Dr. Luna is committed to updating her clinical techniques by completing many hours of continuing education courses every year.
Her interests include running marathons and outdoor recreation. She cherishes and enjoys spending time with her two boys and being an active member of the community.
Dr. Jade Gan
Dr Luna and Team Welcome Dr Jade Gan!
Dr. Gan grew up here in Washington State and attended Seattle University before heading to New York to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry. She completed her dental residency in New York and moved back to the area to be near family and provide dentistry for patients in her home community. Dr. Gan is very involved in her professional organizations and has been published and presented on many aspects of dentistry. An area that she particularly excels in is giving comfortable anesthesia. She understands that the fear of receiving dental injections keeps many patients from receiving the care they need, so she strives to create an experience which eliminates that fear.
When Dr Gan isn't practicing dentistry, she enjoys cheering on the Mariners, running and strength training, and just catching a show or bite to eat around town.
Dr. Nicole Leiker
Mountlake Family Dentistry welcomes Dr. Nicole Leiker!
Dr. Leiker lives on Bainbridge Island with her husband, Peter where they raised their two children. She practiced privately for 14 years in Downtown Seattle, focusing her practice on adults. She was acknowledged by her colleagues as one of Seattle’s Top Dentists for Seattle Met from 2009-2019. Today, Dr. Leiker spends her time traveling to see her children and being involved in her B. I. community. She continues to practice regularly in the greater Puget Sound, while also providing locum services to colleagues that need to be away from their practice for extended time. Nicole enjoys fitness, yoga, traveling and cooking.
Dr. Leiker graduated from the University of Washington. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and the title of Doctor of Dental Surgery. She went on to study at the prestigious Spears Education in Scottsdale, Arizona where she served as a visiting faculty member for several years. She participates in ongoing courses and training, keeping abreast of advances in dentistry as part of her commitment to continuing education and excellence!
